How can we reserve you for our wedding?

Thank you for your interest! We love making new friends and sharing in your special day. Please use the form on the Contact page to inquire about your date. We will then discuss package information and decide on the best package that fits your individual needs and budget. We require a signed contract and a 50% retainer fee to secure and then hold your date. We will only book YOUR wedding on that day. All of the focus is on you!

We accept checks, credit cards, PayPal or Venmo payments.

When should we book our wedding date?

We have booked weddings years in advance and we have booked weddings days in advance! The Asheville Wedding Market is very dynamic with so many amazing venues which drives most of the dates. Most bookings will occur between 6 and 12 months before the big day, but we have photographed many weddings on short notice. No matter when your date is, give us a call or email!

Can we change our package after booking?

Things change and we understand! You can book a wedding photography package to secure your date and then upgrade based on your needs later on. Want to add a reception dinner, hair styling appointment, or just extra hours - we can do that!

How far will you travel for wedding photography?

I would be happy to travel to your wedding wherever it is taking place. For weddings in NC, SC, TN, GA, & FL, travel costs may include hotel fees (if driving distance is longer than 2 hours). We have photographed weddings all over the southeast and love venturing away from Asheville time to time.

How many wedding images will we receive?

Since we take a photojournalistic approach to documenting your day, we will have many amazing and memorable images for you! We also focus on the quality of the images rather than the quantity. The photos you receive will be fully edited, cropped, color corrected and high resolution. We release the images to you so you can make prints at your leisure at a photo store of your choice and are not required to order prints from us after the wedding. However, we are ready and willing if you would like us to take care of the printing.

Will I be able to share my photos with friends/family?

Yes! You will receive the wedding images on a password protected private online gallery and can share this link with family and friends. You will have access to download the images from this site so you have the images the day I finish editing them. This is a free service that is included with all of our portrait sessions/wedding packages.

What do I need to provide to you before the wedding?

After we get your date secured with the contract and deposit you will receive a wedding information sheet. This sheet has all the information I will need to put together a photo checklist and schedule for the day. We ask our couples to take their time with filling it out and send in about a month prior to the wedding. Once we receive this I will put together a detailed photo checklist based on your requests and a detailed timeline so everyone knows what time to be ready for photos before the ceremony and who needs to stick around for photos after the ceremony. We think of ourselves as mini wedding planners in a way. We are here for you every step of the way!

What about a second photographer? Do I need one?

We include a second photographer during the ceremony for all of our packages that include 6 hours of coverage or more. As a rule of thumb, if you are planning on more than 250 guests or a wedding party with more than 12 we suggest having a second photographer. If you would like to extend the second photographers coverage past the ceremony we can do that too!

At what wedding venues have you photographed weddings?

We have photographed weddings at most of Asheville’s main wedding venues and at multiple bed and breakfasts, wineries, and more! New venues are popping up all of the time in Asheville and it is always exciting to photograph our friends in new spaces.

Biltmore Estate, Crest Center and Pavilion, NC Arboretum, Homewood, Grove Park Inn, Century Room, and Grand Bohemian are just a few of our many favorite wedding venues in the Asheville NC area where we have photographed beautiful weddings!
